 Reflection Paper on IRCITE 2024


I. Details of the Event/Activity

On March 8, 2024, I had the privilege of attending the International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) held at Wesleyan University – Philippines in Cabanatuan City. This event was hosted by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Education (PSITE) Region III, and it brought together IT professionals, educators, and students to discuss the latest trends and research in the field.


II. Reflections on the Webinar/Activity (Learnings)

Attending IRCITE 2024 was a profoundly enriching experience. It allowed me to connect and build camaraderie with individuals who share the same passion for information technology as I do. One of the highlights was representing my team's paper at the podium. Our team, Syntax, comprised John Harvey Agrabio as the backend developer and John Patrick Mata as the frontend developer, and I had the honor of presenting our collaborative work. This opportunity to speak publicly and represent our research was both exhilarating and educational, enhancing my communication skills and confidence.


III. Reflections on Possibilities for Implementing Webinar Input Practically

The insights and knowledge gained from IRCITE 2024 will be invaluable for my future endeavors. I plan to apply the learnings from this event to future projects and academic pursuits. The discussions and feedback received will serve as a reference point for continuous improvement. Additionally, the memorable experiences and interactions with fellow participants will be cherished, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.


IV. Positive Feedback on the Event Organization

The organization of IRCITE 2024 was exemplary. The event was highly interactive, featuring a well-balanced mix of presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities. The seamless execution and engaging content significantly contributed to an effective and enjoyable learning environment. The organizers did an excellent job in facilitating meaningful exchanges and providing a platform for sharing innovative ideas.


V. Suggestions for Improvements for Future Activities

None. The event was impeccably organized, and all aspects met or exceeded expectations. The interactive sessions, high-quality presentations, and overall structure were well thought out and effectively implemented.


In conclusion, IRCITE 2024 was an outstanding event that provided a wealth of knowledge and valuable experiences. Representing my team and connecting with other IT enthusiasts was incredibly rewarding. The learnings and memories from this conference will undoubtedly influence my future projects and professional growth. The high level of organization and interactivity made it a truly impactful and memorable conference.
