I. Details of the event/activity 

The CCS OJT Practicum Orientation for ITP422 Practicum 2 (BSIT) in the academic year 2023-2024 marked a crucial phase in my educational journey. This orientation provided a comprehensive overview of the practicum structure, detailing the allocation of 500 hours (On-site), 50 hours (Certification/Training), and 50 hours (Other activities) to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.

The orientation emphasized the necessity of certain documents, such as a modern resume, application letter, guardian's/parent's waiver, accomplished student profiling form, and an acceptance letter. Additionally, the importance of providing proof of evidences for Certification, Training, and Other Activities was highlighted. The required proof of evidences included certificates, documentation (proof of attendance/pictures with captions), certificate of attendance, training certificate, work output sample, and a certificate of completion.

II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings) 

The orientation prompted profound reflections on the significance of the practicum experience. It highlighted the real-world application of academic knowledge and the transformative journey it entails. The emphasis on required documents and proof of evidences underscored the need for professionalism, accountability, and the creation of a tangible record of our contributions.

The practicum serves as a bridge between theory and practice, offering an opportunity to apply classroom learning to practical scenarios. The orientation deepened my understanding of the responsibilities and commitments associated with the practicum, fostering a sense of preparedness for the challenges and rewards that lie ahead.
