I. Details of the event/activity 

Innovatica organized an educational webinar named "DESIGN-101: UI/UX Design Using Figma" as part of Innovatica - Activity 2. The session was conducted in real-time through Google Meet on October 14, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Serving as the Resource Speaker, Ms. Fatrizha Alejah F. Boongaling, an experienced Software Engineer at SkyDev.Solutions Inc., shared her expertise in UI/UX design, focusing on the widely acknowledged tool, Figma.

II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings) 

The webinar emerged as a valuable learning experience for both our team and the participants. Ms. Boongaling demonstrated a mastery of essential UI/UX design concepts, underscoring their crucial role in product development. Through an exploration of Figma's interface and functionality, attendees gained insights into creating wireframes, constructing interactive prototypes, and understanding collaboration and usability testing. The session effectively conveyed significant design principles, empowering participants to prioritize user needs and generate visually appealing designs.

Furthermore, the program not only equipped attendees with practical skills but also fostered a deeper understanding of the importance of incorporating user-centric approaches in design. Ms. Boongaling's expertise provided a solid foundation for participants to enhance their design capabilities, emphasizing the significance of user input throughout the design process.

III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning) 

Reflecting on the webinar's content, there are tangible possibilities for implementing the acquired knowledge in practical scenarios. The comprehensive insights provided by Ms. Boongaling on key UI/UX design concepts offer practical applications in real-world product development. Attendees, having learned how to create wireframes, build interactive prototypes, and conduct usability testing using Figma, now possess practical skills applicable to their design endeavors.

Details of the event/activity  The CCS OJT Practicum Orientation for ITP422 Practicum 2 (BSIT) in the academic year 2023-2024 marked a crucial phase in my educational journey.
