 Xymbolic Industry Tour

I. Details of the event/activity 

On December 19, 2023, me and some of my classmates went to Xymbolic, located here in Olongapo. They have 2 different offices, one (main) just in front of a cafe in Magsaysay near But First, Coffee and another one just in front of the Venue Hotel near argonaut road.

II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings) 

After our visit to Xymbolic, an office in Olongapo, where we gained insights into office operations and employee functions, I found the tour to be both sufficient and highly informative. Despite initially seeking a tour at their main office location, we were redirected to another office, where Sir. Mike shared valuable insights about their industry. Reflecting on this experience, there are practical possibilities for implementing the lessons learned into our own work environment. The knowledge acquired during the visit could potentially be applied to improve our own office dynamics and operations. It would be worthwhile to explore how we can integrate these insights into our daily practices, fostering a more efficient and informed workplace.

III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning) 

Because of this tour, it became one of my prospects for my on-the-job training requirement that I will be taking next semester as a part of our final requirements. I think that Xymbolic is sufficient, not only with hardware stuff but also the back end. At about the end of the tour, sir Mike showed us how their back end words and it was a bunch of people working together. These people include the company's marketing, accounting and even website development.

IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization) 

The tour was highly informative, it gave a brief description to how Xymbolic works. How it utilizes its man power to not only help the company progress, but you can also see the people having fun and the work space camaraderie of the employees.

V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities 

None, the tour was very comfortable and the people were very welcoming.

Details of the event/activity  The CCS OJT Practicum Orientation for ITP422 Practicum 2 (BSIT) in the academic year 2023-2024 marked a crucial phase in my educational journey.
